DIRECTIONS FROM: Tidewater, Va. Beach, Norfolk (to include Norfolk Airport) Take
I-64 to Northampton Blvd, go North to the CHESAPEAKE BAY BRIDGE TUNNEL, cross the bridge tunnel and continue up US-13
to the first stop light (about 10 miles) then follow the directions listed below as CAPE CHARLES.
DIRECTIONS FROM: Pa. Md. De.
Take US-13 South to Virginia. About 80 miles from the va. state line to the Cape Charles stoplight. Follow
the directions below listed as Cape Charles.
DIRECTIONS: CAPE CHARLES>go on
US-13 to the Cape Charles stoplight. Turn right (if Southbound)or turn left (If Northbound)heading into Cape Charles
(RT# 184). About 1.1/2 miles you will pass a water tower on your left ( it looks like a light house, or
supposed too). In about 300 yards the priority road (184) will turn left (make the turn) and then in about 100
yards 184 will turn right (when you make this right turn just as a landmark Rayfields Pharmacy will be on your
left) State Road 184 inside Cape Charles is called Mason Ave. Once you make the right turn there is a hill
on your left you want to be on the hill, so make the first left turn and go up and over the bridge (small railroad
bridge). Make the first right turn once you are off of the bridge (about 50 yards). You should be on Bayshore
Road. From the right turn off of the bridge onto Bayshore Road continue about 200 yards to Marina Road and
make a right. On Bayshore Road the will be signs to "Cape Charles Harbor" and the "US Coast
Guard Station" follow them onto Marina Road. The Coast Guard Station is fenced in for security, and the first
paved surface to the left (right next to the Coast Guard fence) is slip #1, the "Lt." is in slip #3.
When you write it down it seems like allot, but from the Stop light its about 8 minutes drive, and from the railroad
bridge you go over you can see the harbor just off to your right at about two o'clock. Any problems at all
call me (757-678-3718). MAPQUEST Cape Charles Virginia (23310) and you will see State Road 184 follows the train
tracks into town, and you should see where Old Cape Charles Road crosses the tracks.
